William M. Jackson, MD, is Division Chief, Pediatric Anesthesiology at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Jackson’s clinical focus is in pediatric anesthesiology, pediatric acute and chronic pain medicine and pediatric regional anesthesia.

After receiving his Bachelor of Art in biochemistry from New York University in 2007, Dr. Jackson attended Columbia University, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2012. He completed his anesthesiology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian in 2016, followed by his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York in 2017. In 2019, Dr. Jackson earned his Master of Science in Patient Oriented Research from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health.

Dr. Jackson’s research explores a range of topics including neurodevelopmental outcomes of anesthetic exposure in children, COVID-19 in pediatric patients and executive function in children with heart disease. His research is shared through several peer-reviewed publications as well as poster presentations, oral presentations and invited lectures.

Dr. Jackson is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesiology and the Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine.
