Dr. Lwin had a medical degree from the Institute of Medicine I in Yangon, Myanmar. She would go on to finish her residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx before completing a Nephrology fellowship at New York Medical College. She achieved Board recertificaton in Internal Medicine and Nephrology in 2009.
