Irina N. Shur, MD

Irina Shur, MD, is Medical Director, Montefiore Einstein Advanced Care. Dr. Shur’s clinical focus is in internal medicine.

After earning her Doctor of Medicine at University Medical School, Novosibirsk, Russia in 1981, Dr. Shur began her postdoctoral training in Novosibirsk, completing her internal medicine residency in 1982 and her fellowship in cardiology in 1988. She later came to the United States and continued her postdoctoral training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine/VAMC Residency Program, completing her internal medicine residency in 1998.

Dr. Shur is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Medical Directors Association.
