Thomas Doty, PA

Thomas Doty, PA-C, MBA, has more than 20 years of experience caring for patients with orthopedic and sports-related conditions. As a Physician Assistant, Tom is passionate about helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options and getting them back to the activities they enjoy.

Tom’s clinical experience includes general orthopedics, sports medicine, orthopedic urgent care, spine care, and perioperative orthopedic management. He takes a patient-centered approach to care, working closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that fits their individual needs, goals, and lifestyle.

Tom also serves as Director of Clinical Operations for Orthopedics, bringing his clinical experience and leadership background to the delivery of high-quality orthopedic care. He enjoys working as part of a collaborative orthopedic team and helping create a positive experience for patients throughout their care.

Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement and Athletic Training from Sacred Heart University. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wagner College and a Master of Business Administration from Long Island University.

Education and mentorship have also been important parts of Tom’s career. He has served as a clinical preceptor for numerous Physician Assistant students and was elected to Pi Alpha, the National Honor Society for Physician Assistants, in recognition of his commitment to the education and development of future Physician Assistants.

Outside of his clinical and leadership responsibilities, Tom brings a background in athletic training and sports medicine that helps him understand the physical demands placed on patients and athletes. His goal is to provide knowledgeable, compassionate care while helping each patient feel informed and confident about their treatment.
