Arash Gohari, MD

Arash Gohari, MD, is an Attending Radiologist at Montefiore specializing in Cardiothoracic Imaging and Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He is also an Assistant Professor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical focus is percutaneous diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, including biopsies, peripheral vascular diseases and venous insufficiency.

Dr. Gohari received his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1998. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Medical Center, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Montefiore. Dr. Gohari then completed two fellowships, one in thoracic imaging at Montefiore in 2004 and another in vascular and interventional radiology at New York University Medical Center in 2008. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at City University in New York.

Dr. Gohari?s research focuses on kidney and lung biopsies. He has had many publications and presentations nationally. Among the numerous honors and awards he has received, he was named Teacher of the Year, Radiology Department at SUNY Downstate, New York.

Dr. Gohari is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
