Vineet R. Jain, MD

Vineet R. Jain, MD, is an Attending Physician in the Divisions of Emergency Radiology and Cardiothoracic Imaging at Montefiore, and an Associate Professor of Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical focus is patient care through interpretation of radiology examinations and consultations with clinical team members.

Dr. Jain received his Doctor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. He completed an internship in internal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a fellowship in thoracic radiology at University of Maryland in 2004.

Dr. Jain?s research focuses on cardiothoracic and emergency radiology. He has written many publications in his field and coauthored book chapters on cardiac imaging.

In 2008, Dr. Jain received the Harold G. Jacobson Outstanding Teacher Award. Dr. Jain received a Certificate of Advanced Proficiency in Cardiac Computed Tomography in 2013 and became board certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2003.
