About
Kamal S. Farha, DPM, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Farha’s clinical focus is on specialized conservative and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot and ankle, with an emphasis on limb salvage and wound healing.
After receiving his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Farha completed his residency at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital, serving as the chief resident in his final year. He then pursued a fellowship in advanced tissue and wound healing at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. Dr. Farha has also completed his Master of Business Administration at the University of Miami.
Dr. Farha’s research focuses on wound management and prevention, sharing his work through poster presentations and case reports, and serving as an ad hoc reviewer for the journal Wounds.
Dr. Farha is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, board certified in wound care by the American Board of Wound Management and board qualified in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Board of Podiatric Medicine, American Board of Wound Management and the European Wound Management Association.
