About
Noelle V. Waldschmidt, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Waldschmidt’s clinical focus is in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery.
After completing her Bachelor of Arts in biology at Saint Olaf College in 2013, Dr. Waldschmidt attended the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 2018. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2022, taking on the role of co-chief resident in her final year. In 2025, Dr. Waldschmidt completed her fellowship in urogynecology at Hartford Hospital-University of Connecticut.
Dr. Waldschmidt’s research focuses on medical education and simulation, pelvic anatomy, obstetric anal sphincter injuries, and pelvic floor surgery outcomes. She has shared her work through peer-reviewed journals and oral, poster and video presentations.
Dr. Waldschmidt is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Urological Association.
