Christopher D. Jakubowski, MD

Christopher Jakubowski, MD, is Associate Director, Genitourinary Oncology at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Medical Oncology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Jakubowski’s clinical focus centers on prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer and testicular cancer.

After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in molecular biology and biochemistry from Rutgers University in 2010, Dr. Jakubowski earned his Doctor of Medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 2015. He completed his internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2018, followed by a hematology & medical oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2021.

Dr. Jakubowski’s research focuses on clinical trials, molecular targeted therapies and immunotherapies in genitourinary oncology. His academic work has included peer-reviewed original research publications, review articles, case reports, book chapters and abstract presentations.

Dr. Jakubowski is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. In 2020, Dr. Jakubowski received the Young Investigator Award from ASCO’s Conquer Cancer Foundation.
