Veronika Blinder, DO, is Associate Program Director, Critical Care Fellowship Program, Associate Director, Weiler MICU and Assistant Professor, Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Blinder's practice focuses on medical ICUs, with a special interest in severe alcohol withdrawal and its treatment.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Wellesley College in 2010, Dr. Blinder earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. She then completed her emergency medicine residency, where she was chief resident at Northwell Health in 2020, before completing a critical care fellowship at Montefiore in 2022.
Dr. Blinder’s research mainly focuses on alcohol withdrawal syndrome with an emphasis on phenobarbital use.
