Jason Lupow, MD, is Medical Director, Montefiore EMS and Associate Professor, Emergency Medicine at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Lupow’s clinical focus is in providing emergency medical care.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science in biology at Binghamton University in 1998, Dr. Lupow attended New York Medical College, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2002. He began his postdoctoral training with a yearlong internship at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center followed by a three-year residency at Jacobi Hospital/Montefiore Medical Center from 2003 to 2006, taking on the role of Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Lupow’s research focuses on acute pain control in the emergency department. His research has been shared through peer-reviewed journals, abstracts and case reports.
Dr. Lupow is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He is an oral board examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a member of Physicians for Patient Protection. In 2014, Dr. Lupow was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society in recognition of his excellence in medical education.
