Dr. Braulio Flores is a board-certified internal medicine physician with White Plains Hospital Physician Associates who has more than 25 years of clinical experience spanning primary care, preventive medicine, cardiology, and hospital medicine. Before joining White Plains Hospital Physician Associates, Dr. Flores practiced with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Medical Group/Lawrence Medical Associates, where he provided comprehensive adult primary care with an emphasis on preventive medicine and cardiovascular risk reduction. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, where he worked for the Department of Cardiology and trained future physicians while caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.

Dr. Flores earned his medical degree from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru, and completed a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center/St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.

A passionate advocate for lifestyle medicine, Dr. Flores believes that nutrition, exercise, sleep and stress management play an important role in preventing disease and supporting lifelong health. He partners with patients to reduce disease risk, optimize vitality, and promote healthy aging through evidence-based, individualized care. His commitment to wellness extends beyond the office. An avid cyclist, swimmer, and endurance athlete, Dr. Flores completed the Ironman Lake Placid triathlon in 2015, a reflection of the healthy, active lifestyle he encourages in his patients.
