Shabnam A. Fidvi, MD

Shabnam A. Fidvi, MD, is an Attending Physician at Advanced Imaging at Montefiore Medical Park and Associate Professor of Radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Since joining the Montefiore team, her clinical focus has been abdominal imaging, including computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound modalities, and CT oncologic imaging, with a special interest in colorectal and pancreatic malignancies.

Dr. Fidvi completed her medical school training at the University of Mumbai. She began her postgraduate training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Mumbai, B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital. Following this, she completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the New York Medical College, becoming Chief Resident in 2002. Dr. Fidvi went on to pursue a fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Fidvi?s research focus on oncologic imaging expands from her clinical practice. Her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed articles. She is active in teaching medical students and radiology residents and is a participant at weekly Tumor Board Conferences at Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center.

Dr. Fidvi is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance, and the New York Roentgen Society.
