Daniel T. Friedman, MD, is Director, Community Hematology/Oncology at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Medical Oncology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He delivers community-focused care for hematology and medical oncology patients in the Bronx and Yonkers.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University Medical College in 1999, Dr. Friedman completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Einstein in 2002. He remained at Montefiore Einstein to complete an oncology fellowship in 2005.

Dr. Friedman's research has been focused on treatment outcomes and access to care. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts.

Dr. Friedman is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
