Ajiroghene Obaro-Best, NP

Ms. Obaro-Best’s focus is in surgical oncology. She works with the Endocrine and Upper GI team helping navigate and assist in patient’s current and transitional care. She collaborates on the tumor board care plans with the multidisciplinary team and coordinates and assesses continuity of care with cancer survivors.

Ms. Obaro-Best has been with the Montefiore Medical System for 10 years, previously working as a Telemetry Staff Nurse and Patient Care Coordinator. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at BronxDocs, a Registered Nurse at Pioneer Home Care Agency and was previously the Patient Care Coordinator on a cardiology unit at Weiler Hospital. Mrs. Obaro-Best earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Vermont in 2012 and her Master of Science as family nurse practitioner at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2018.
