Manasa Kanneganti, MD

Manasa Kanneganti, MD, is a vascular surgeon at Montefiore Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Kanneganti’s clinical focus centers on peripheral arterial disease and diabetic foot ulcers with a focus on limb salvage, venous insufficiency, hemodialysis access, aortic disease, thoracic outlet syndrome, mesenteric insufficiencies and sclerotherapy.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in medical sciences and psychology from Boston University College of Arts and Sciences in 2012, Dr. Kanneganti earned her Doctor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine in 2015. She continued her medical training at Montefiore Medical Center, completing a general surgery internship in 2016 and her general surgery residency in 2020. She then completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia in 2022.

Dr. Kanneganti’s research interests include hemodialysis access, thoracic outlet syndrome and limb salvage. Her work has been shared through numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, abstract presentations, invited lectures and expert panels. She is also a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Kanneganti is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery and the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society, among others.
