Cheryl Tasher, NP

Cheryl Tasher, MSN, RN, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein, Moses Campus. Serving patients through the Linking Individual Needs of Children with Services (LINCS) Program, her clinical focus centers on providing services to medically fragile children who need complex care and their families. She also cares for patients through the Low Birth Weight Infant Evaluation & Assessment Program (LEAP), where she assesses and performs periodic screening of low birth weight and high-risk premature infants for developmental delay and cerebral palsy, and refers them to Early Intervention Services to improve their quality of life.

After completing her associate degree of Applied Science in Nursing at Bronx Community College in 2004, Ms. Tasher attended the College of New Rochelle, completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009. She later returned to the institution to build on her education, earning her Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner in 2016. She was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016 and received her Pediatric CCRN Certification in 2017.

Ms. Tasher is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
