Amy Sharma, MD

Amy Sharma , MD, is Co-Director, Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program and Assistant Professor, Hematology Oncology at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Sharma maintains an active practice focusing on the treatment of sickle cell disease and classical hematology.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Biology from Cornell University in 2003, Dr. Sharma earned her Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2007. Following this, she came to Montefiore Einstein to complete her internal medicine residency in 2010 and a hematology oncology fellowship in 2013.

Dr. Sharma is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology. From 2015 to 2017, Dr. Sharma was named in SuperDoctors New York Rising Stars. She is fluent in Spanish.
