Galina Bass, MD

Dr. Galina Bass is an attending psychiatrist at Montefiore Medical Center -Wakefield Division. She joined Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1989 as a psychiatry resident , training at the Montefiore Medical Center and affiliated institutions. After completing her residency training and fellowship at MMC Anxiety and Depression Clinic Dr. Bass joined the Einstein faculty. She received her Medical Degree from Sechenov Medical School in Moscow, Russia. In addition to practice of general psychiatry Dr. Bass has interest and experience in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is a graduate of the NY Psychoanalytic Institute and a recipient of Fellowship Award from the American Psychoanalytic Association in 1995.
