About

Dr. Mark Tullman is White Plains Hospital’s Associate Director of Multiple Sclerosis. After spending 14 years practicing medicine in his hometown of St. Louis, he was delighted to return to the greater New York metropolitan area and medical community in October 2025.

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Tullman earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri. He then completed an internal medicine internship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a neurology residency and multiple sclerosis postdoctoral fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Dr. Tullman is a leading authority with more than 25 years of experience in MS patient care, as well as a recognized expert in the management of other immune-mediated illnesses of the central nervous system, including neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease. Dr. Tullman is also a clinical researcher and expert in experimental therapies.

Dr. Tullman formerly served as was an attending neurologist at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Care and Research Center at the Columbia University Medical Center, the Director of Clinical Research at the MS Center for Innovations in Care at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, and most recently as Director of the MS Division for Mercy Neurology in St. Louis, MO.

Dr. Tullman has appeared as a guest on the Today Show; co-authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters; served as a member of the Client Education Committee of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Board of Directors for the Gateway Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Missouri Multiple Sclerosis Task Force, and the editorial board of Continuum: Lifelong Learning in Neurology, published by American Academy of Neurology.
