Katrina L. McCoy, PhD

Dr. Katrina McCoy is a licensed clinical psychologist at the Adult Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Montefiore Medical Center Wakefield Division. Dr. McCoy is the clinical director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program at the Wakefield AOPD and supervisor for the Psychology Internship Training Program Combined Specialization.  She earned her Ph.D. from West Virginia University and completed her internship and postdoctoral training at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. McCoy's areas of clinical and research expertise include nonsuicidal self injury (NSSI) and suicide, depression, and emotion dysregulation. She has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at national conferences.
