About
Alice Lee, DDS, is Program Director, Pediatric Dentistry Residency, Division Chief, Pediatric Dentistry and Assistant Professor, Dentistry at Montefiore Einstein. Dr. Lee’s clinical interests include behavior guidance, minimally invasive dentistry and dentistry for pediatric patients with special health care needs. She is a board-certified pediatric dentist and is an active member of the Craniofacial Team at Children's Hospital at Montefiore.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of California, Davis in 1994, Dr. Lee earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University in 1998. She then completed a general practice residency at the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in 1999 before completing a fellowship in special care dentistry at the Rose F. Kennedy Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center at Montefiore Einstein in 2000. Dr. Lee completed her specialty training in pediatric dentistry here at Montefiore Einstein in 2002.
Building on her clinical interests, Dr. Lee’s recent research focus has been on minimally invasive dentistry techniques. She has given numerous poster presentations nationwide and is active in organized dentistry and pediatric oral health advocacy.
Dr. Lee is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (FAAPD). She is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In 2000, Dr. Lee won the Fixodent Fasteeth Procter & Gamble Oral Care Award from the Table Clinic Competition at the 12th Annual National Conference on Special Care Issues in Dentistry.
