About
Daniel Treister, MD, is a neuroradiologist at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Treister interprets cross-sectional imaging in the emergency and inpatient and outpatient settings across disciplines of neuroradiology, including brain, head, neck and spine imaging.
In 2010, Dr. Treister received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biophysics and molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona Honors College. He then attended the University of Southern California, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2015. He completed his internship in internal medicine at Huntington Hospital in 2016, followed by his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of California, San Francisco in 2020. Dr. Treister remained at this institution to complete a diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship in 2021.
Dr. Treister is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has a subspecialty certification in Neuroradiology. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Radiology and the American Society of Neuroradiology, among others.
