About
Marjorie J. Strelzyn, OD, is Director, Contact Lens at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Strelzyn provides comprehensive medical eye examinations, complex refractions and the full spectrum of contact lens fittings. Her expertise is in specialty contact lens care for patients with complex corneal, ocular surface and refractive conditions, including keratoconus, irregular corneas due to surgery, trauma or scarring, severe dry eye, high refractive errors, corneal transplants and recurrent corneal erosions.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science in biology from Binghamton University in 1981, Dr. Strelzyn earned her Doctor of Optometry at the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1986.
Dr. Strelzyn’s research aligns with her clinical focus. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has given several national presentations.
Dr. Strelzyn is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association.
