Hector L. Coll-Ruiz, MD

Hector Coll-Ruiz, MD is a psychiatrist with interests in Public Psychiatry and Outpatient Adult Psychiatry. He is an Attending Psychiatrist at the Montefiore Behavioral Health Center at Westchester Square, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry.  He teaches first year medical students in the Introduction to Clinical Medicine course.   

Dr. Coll-Ruiz is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, he completed his internship and residency training at the Montefiore Psychiatry Residency Training Program, he completed a fellowship in Public Psychiatry at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in the New York State Psychiatric Institute, and he is Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr Coll-Ruiz is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
