About
Young-Jin Sue, MD, is an attending physician at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein and Clinical Associate Professor, Pediatrics at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Sue’s clinical focus is children’s medical emergencies, with subspecialty expertise in pediatric toxicology.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine at Brown University in 1987, Dr. Sue completed a pediatrics internship at Rhode Island Hospital, Brown University in 1988. She completed her pediatrics residency at the same institution in 1990, followed by a pediatric emergency medicine and clinical toxicology fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard University School of Medicine in 1992.
Dr. Sue’s educational focus has been pediatric emergency medicine and medical toxicology concepts for third-year medical students rotating through pediatrics. Her research has focused on pediatric emergency medicine and pediatric toxicology. Her work has been shared through numerous peer-reviewed publications, books, chapters, review articles and abstracts. She has also been a reviewer for EB Medicine.
Dr. Sue is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Medical Toxicology. She is a member of the American College of Medical Toxicology.
