Miang Chneh C. Teo, DDS

Christopher Miang Chneh Teo, DDS, is an attending orthodontist at Montefiore Einstein. He offers multidisciplinary treatment involving orthodontics, with a clinical focus in adult orthodontics and craniofacial orthopedics.

After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia in 2004, Dr. Teo moved to the United States to continue his education, pursuing a fellowship in orthodontics at New York University (NYU), which he completed in 2013. He remained at NYU to complete his orthodontic residency in 2017, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2019.

Dr. Teo’s research focuses on invisalign efficacy and technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in orthodontics. He has given national and international poster presentations and his work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and books. He has also been a journal reviewer for PLOS ONE since 2014.

Dr. Teo is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He won the IADR Bernard G. Sarnat Award in Craniofacial Biology at the 2014 International Association for Dental Research meeting.
