After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Cornell University in 1988, Dr. Whang earned his Doctor of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1992. He completed his internship at St. Barnabas Medical Center 1993, followed by his anesthesiology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 1996.
