Sunita Ningthoujam, MD

Dr. Sunita Ningthoujam, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein. Her clinical focus is internal medicine.

After earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India, in 2001, Dr. Ningthoujam completed a Doctor of Medicine in microbiology at University College of Medical Sciences in Delhi, India in 2007, where she was senior resident in her final year. Following this, Dr. Ningthoujam came to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she completed a residency in internal medicine in 2013.

Dr. Ningthoujam’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has shared her work through poster presentations.

Dr. Ningthoujam is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates and is a member of the American College of Medicine and the Delhi Medical Council. She speaks English, Manipuri and Hindi.
