Lillian Colon, MD

Lillian Colon, MD, MS, FAPA, is Attending Psychiatrist at Montefiore and Assistant Professor at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical focus is on the acute treatment of emergency room patients presenting with diverse psychiatric symptoms, identifying the possible causes and ensuring prompt treatment.

From 1992 to 1996 she was a psychiatric resident with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with rotations at Montefiore Medical Center, North Central Bronx Hospital, Jacobi Medical Center and Bronx Psychiatric Center. From 1996 to 1997, she was a schizophrenia research fellow at the Montefiore Medical Center Schizophrenia Clinic.

Dr. Colon’s research interests focus on the efficacy of new pharmacological agents in treating psychotic symptoms.
