Esther Rong, MD

Esther Rong, MD, is a Diagnostic Radiologist at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Rong’s clinical focus centers on musculoskeletal radiology, with a particular interest in sports medicine.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in biology from the City University of New York Hunter College in 2015, Dr. Rong earned her Doctor of Medicine at Montefiore Einstein in 2019. She completed her internal medicine internship at New York University Langone Hospital–Long Island in 2020, followed by her diagnostic radiology residency at Montefiore Einstein in 2024. Dr. Rong then completed a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Northwell Health in 2025.

Dr. Rong’s research aligns with her clinical focus in diagnostic radiology. She has shared her work through numerous national and international abstract presentations and peer-reviewed journal articles.

In 2024, Dr. Rong was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society for her Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students.
