Marjorie W. Stein, MD

Marjorie Werner Stein, MD, has been an attending in ultrasound and body imaging at Montefiore/ Weiler Hospital since 1991. She is an alumna of Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she finished medical school and completed her residency in diagnostic radiology. She also holds a fellowship in body imaging at North Shore University Hospital and is a fellow of the American College of Radiology.As Director of Medical Student Education for Radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Stein developed the curriculum for the new clerkship at its inception. Heralded as a superb teacher, she was awarded the prestigious Leo Davidoff Society Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students in 2007.As part of an excellent clinical team at Montefiore, Dr. Stein has particular expertise in abdominal, transplant, gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound. Dr. Stein has contributed numerous publications to the radiologic literature and has served as a mentor for medical students, residents, and fellows in radiologic research.
