Elaine M. Matos, NP

Ms. Matos works for the division of surgery, breast service. Her responsibilities include evaluating, examining and treating patients, prescription management, referrals, surgical planning/teaching, multidisciplinary team meetings, participation in multiple research/clinical trials and insurance authorizations.

Ms. Matos has worked at Montefiore since 2006 in various positions, including as a Registered Nurse in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the Emergency Department. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Pace University in 2006 and her Master of Science as family nurse practitioner from the same university in 2010. Ms. Matos holds certification from the American Nurses Association. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS).
